The Games Club M:TG Play The Game, See The World Qualifier 01/08/2009
 

INTRODUCTION

The PLAY THE GAME, SEE THE WORLD Qualifier tournaments are a series of qualifiers run throughout Europe. The top two finishers at each qualifier earn invitations to the PLAY THE GAME, SEE THE WORLD Championship tournament, to be held at the 2009 Magic: The Gathering World Championship in Rome, Italy on November 22, 2009. Additional qualifiers will be held at the World Championship for the PLAY THE GAME, SEE THE WORLD Championship tournament, where the winner will receive paid airfare and hotel at the 3 2010 Pro Tour Events and the 2010 World Championships, subject to the official rules.

TRAVEL AWARD

This Play The Game, See The World Qualifier will feed the Play The Game, See The World Championship at Worlds in Rome (22 Nov. '09). Player receiving an invitation to the Play The Game, See The World Championship will also receive paid travel to Worlds in Rome (based on the table below):

Leave via the front of the mainline station.
Cross both Euston Station Colonnade and Euston Square.

Take the first right into Upper Woburn Place.
The entrance to the hotel is halfway along the block on the left.

CAR PARKING

FREE parking is readily available on single yellow lines from 1:30pm.

There is a limited amount of parking available at meters and pay & display bays, prior to 1:30pm at a cost of 20p for 3 minutes.

There is underground car park available at the nearby Royal National Hotel. The cost of parking at the hotel starts at £4 (2 hours) and goes up to £17 (24 hours).


CONGESTION CHARGE
The charge does NOT apply at weekends.
The £8 daily Congestion Charge zone covers most of central London, including the venue used by The Games Club. The congestion charge applies from 7.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public Holidays.
